Ramoscelli
Ramoscelli
Ramoscelli means “twigs” in Italian. In this season where the trees are bare and leaves are blowing, and berries, twigs and needles line the woodland paths, wrap up in this cozy, wisp of a shawl. The stripes of mosaic colorwork and simple lace in a contrasting color (or colors) create interest, both in the knitting and in the finished shawl. Although the sample was done in a light fingering, use those special skeins or leftovers you’ve been saving up in the yarn weights you have on hand.
