Hello and welcome!
Curious and busy – these are the words that have always described me. I want to know all the things and then I want to do them.
Since I was a very small child, I’ve loved art, literature, math, history and craft in equal measure. To me, designing knitwear marries all these many things. It’s where I feel like my most true self.
Over the years, I’ve been privileged (and sometimes surprised) by the many twists and turns my life has taken. With each of the hats I’ve worn (mother, educator, administrator, designer), I’ve been able to develop and nurture both people and ideas to maturity.
As a knitwear designer, I strive to create pieces that are classic, yet fun, both to knit and to wear. And my hope is that, with each Paper Moon Knits’ pattern you choose to knit, you’ll discover something – about your own work, about knitting, and about your true self. There are few things more satisfying than watching the seed of a design idea come to life through the talents of you, the knitter.
Currently based on Long Island, I’m designing knitwear for Paper Moon Knits, as well as for publications and other brands.
